A child was shot in Gibsonville Monday night, police said.
At around 10:50 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, police responded to the 100 block of Walnut Crossing Drive for reports of gunshots, according to a press release. They say they arrived to find a child had been shot, and the child was taken to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
A nearby home and vehicle were damaged from the gunfire, the press release said.
No more information is available due to the victim's age.
